Just 3 days and our special guest from Argentina will be here. She is also offering private lessons, but the space is limited.I am looking forward to seeing you there. Here is a bit more about her:Don’t miss this chance to study with Johana Copes. September13-15 Some more information: The last time the great Johana Copes was in New York City, she was starring on Broadway in the revival of the legendary tango show Tango Argentino where she was the most acclaimed and praised dancer by the media, critics and public.

Since then, she has gone on to perform in one of the most famous scenes in Carlos Saura’s movie “Tango”, has performed at the White House and at Yale University for President and First Lady Bush, choreographed countless shows and served as a judge every year for World Tango Dance Championship in both the Stage and Salón categories.

She has also become the premier producer of tango festivals, a pioneer in the field of dance instruction specifically targeted to women and one of the most sought after performers in Buenos Aires.

Being the daughter of the legendary Juan Carlos Copes, she has long been considered Tango Royalty in Buenos Aires and for almost two decades she was her father’s professional partner traveling to five continents to perform, choreograph, coach and teach with him.

Johana is the creator and organizer of the now famed Lady’s Tango Week which was a groundbreaking concept at the time of its inception and through it, thousands of women have had the opportunity to train not just with Johana but with the greatest female tango masters in the history of the dance.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from one of the true Maestras of tango.
