Leonel Silva began his training in the amateur magazine Matrix and Jaquemate from 2005 to 2009 while consecutively training in Reggaeton and Hiphop with Santiago Silva at Fussion School. He participated in the carnival as a dancer and choreographer for Madame Gotica magazine and was nominated for best choreography. Leo also participate as a dancer in the magazine Aquelarre and Parodistas Caballeros. He began his studies of Latin dances such as (Salsa, Bachata, Afro, Chachacha, Boogalo, Mambo, on1 and on2) in different dance schools such as Sioux, Montevideo mambo, Paraíso salsa. From 2012 to 2017, he formed several salsa, bachata and reggaeton groups. Leo also trained with: Nicolas Marin and Vanessa Grossi, Damian Fraga, Luis Albarenga and Antonella Bruno, Zuralhi Fernández, Charles Castro, Carla la Torre in Ballet, Eugenia Melo in Afro Jazz. Participated in various seminars and workshops as an artist. Leo also participates as a competitor in various world competitions. In Argentina, Chile, Brazil, the United States, Miami, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay. Trajectory Solo competitor and director of groups in the Stilldanz 2014 national competitions, obtaining first places in all categories. Leo has toured in Miami World Latin Dance 2014 competition. 6th place in the world in Puerto Rico Salsa Congress 2014 as a soloist. Thirteenth in the world competition Lanegra Salsa 2015 in Spain. Euroson Latino México 2018 4th place in pro am couples team. Euroson Latino 2019 Mexico 2019 and tenth place worldwide as a professional salsa soloist. Euro are Latino México 2021 and 7th place in the world in the male soloist category of professional bachata. Aristas you several congresses in Mexico, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Xalapa Vrracruz, Puebla 2022. Current director of the Acerekó school since 2019.

 

Mae Armeni is a world champion in bachata lady’s duo and has been teaching ballroom and Latin for over 15 years. She is passionate about teaching bachata and all other styles of dance because it gives her students variety of ways of learning how to express their dancing to different genres of music. She loves to compete , perform and social dance with her students and take them to different dance events all over the world.
