Dancer and proprietor Lori Burton-Kassin, opened Argentine Tango Detroit in 2001. Lori has been teaching dance locally for over 39 years, and has been focusing on the Argentine Tango since 1993. Her enthusiasm for the dance helped to form a local community of Argentine tango dancers in Michigan. She has studied with most of the important Masters in Buenos Aires and has been bringing the best from Argentina for 20+ years to continue her growth and knowledge, and to pass it on to her family of dancers, the current USA Tango Champions, her daughter and son -in-law.
